The Beach & Transit Cafe

It sure is nice to be able to enjoy the beach in the middle of December!

I took Dick over to Torii Beach to enjoy the beautiful day!  It was gorgeous outside and the water was incredibly calm.  We didn't go swimming (just stuck our toes in), but walked the beach and collected plenty of seashells and sea glass.  Very fun!

When Brandon got home, we went down to Transit Cafe on the Sea Wall.  It's a tiny cafe, but the view and the food was outstanding!  I had the fish and chips basket (with two kinds of french fries and some pork rinds.)  Brandon had the Beef in Garlic Sauce.  He especially loved the carrots in the garlic sauce.  Dick enjoyed the Rice Omelet in beef sauce.  Good food and good company - a wonderful combination!
